Man who blinded victim after social media feud sentenced to 11... A 33-year-old Bristol man has been jailed for 11 years for an assault which left another man partially blind after a dispute via social media. Chuma Selassie, of no fixed address, assaulted a 35-year-old man at the Coach House pub in Stapleton Road, Easton, in June 2013 after a year-long feud which began on the internet. Selassie was found guilty of GBH with intent following a trial at Bristol Crown Court and was sentenced yesterday. Investigating officer Det Con Ben Sullivan, of Bristol CID,...
